Commercial Drone Site Assessment & Aerial Imaging

Aerial visibility checks, wireless planning and 6K project imagery for rural properties, civil works, construction and development sites across South East Queensland.

Some sites are difficult to assess properly from ground level. Trees, terrain, structures, distance and restricted access can make it hard to understand whether a point-to-point wireless link is practical, where equipment should be positioned, or how a rural or development site fits together. Ipswich IT Services uses commercial drone imaging to give project teams a clearer view before work begins.

Our drone-assisted site assessments support point-to-point connections, fixed wireless services, Wi-Fi and communications planning. Aerial photos and video can help identify potential mounting locations, visible obstructions, terrain changes, access constraints and possible signal paths before committing to equipment or more detailed onsite work. Drone imagery supports our technical assessment; it does not replace licensed land surveying, engineering certification or radio-frequency modelling where those services are required.

We also capture construction progress, site overviews, earthworks, infrastructure and completed developments using the DJI Mavic 4 Pro and DJI Mini 5 Pro. The Mavic 4 Pro's 100MP Hasselblad main camera produces detailed still photography and cinematic 6K HDR video suitable for technical review, project reporting, stakeholder updates, tenders, investor presentations, websites and business promotion.

This service is available exclusively for rural business, civil, construction, infrastructure, development and commercial property projects. Every flight is assessed for location, airspace, weather, site activity, safety and regulatory requirements, and is subject to approval following a pre-flight site assessment.

Comprehensive solutions designed for South East Queensland businesses.

Point-to-Point Line-of-Sight Checks

Aerial visibility checks between proposed connection points to help identify trees, terrain, structures and other potential obstructions before installation.

Fixed Wireless Site Planning

Visual assessment of potential antenna and equipment positions for fixed wireless, rural connectivity and inter-building network projects.

Development-Site Overview

A clearer aerial view of terrain, access, existing structures, surrounding infrastructure and possible equipment locations on large or complex sites.

Construction Progress Capture

Scheduled aerial photos and video from consistent viewpoints to document milestones from site establishment and earthworks through to practical completion.

Civil Works & Infrastructure

High-resolution coverage of roadworks, subdivisions, utilities, drainage, earthmoving, industrial sites and other large-scale civil projects.

100MP Photography & 6K Video

Detailed 100MP Hasselblad stills and cinematic 6K HDR footage from the DJI Mavic 4 Pro for presentations, reports, tenders and promotion.

Commercial Site Planning

Pre-flight planning covering site access, active works, airspace, weather, safety requirements and coordination with the project team.

Why Businesses Trust Us

Commercial drone site assessment gives technical and project teams a practical view of locations that cannot be properly understood from the ground. On rural properties, construction sites and potential development sites, aerial imagery can reveal terrain, vegetation, structures, access routes and the relationship between proposed equipment locations.

For point-to-point wireless and fixed wireless projects, we can use the drone to inspect the view from a proposed mounting height and direction. This helps our technicians identify obvious line-of-sight obstructions and assess potential antenna locations before installation. These observations are combined with our networking experience and appropriate technical planning; drone footage alone is not represented as a guaranteed radio link, licensed survey or engineering assessment.

Our DJI Mavic 4 Pro is built for professional aerial imaging. Its 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad main camera produces 100MP still images and records 6K HDR video at up to 60 frames per second. We also operate the DJI Mini 5 Pro where a more compact aircraft is appropriate. Equipment and flight planning are selected around the site, conditions and intended deliverables.

The same visit can provide high-quality construction or development imagery for progress records, reports, websites, capability statements and stakeholder presentations. Repeat capture can document changes from early site works through to completion using consistent viewpoints.

Common projects include rural fixed wireless connections, inter-building links, farms and large commercial properties, subdivisions, civil works, industrial facilities, infrastructure, earthworks, construction sites and potential development sites. This is an exclusively commercial project service. Availability depends on weather, airspace, site access, active-work conditions and a safety assessment. Send us the site locations, project requirements and intended use and we'll confirm what is practical before scheduling the assessment.
